Today we share with heavy hearts, yet also with deep gratitude, the news of the passing of our team member, Amy Koethe.

Professionally, Amy was one of Excelsior Realty’s original real estate agents and one of our most loved team members. But to call her simply an agent doesn’t begin to capture who she was. Everywhere Amy went, she met people—and those people instantly trusted her. They wanted to buy a house with her, sell a house with her, or honestly just be around her. There was something magical about Amy: her warmth, her integrity, her laughter, and her sincerity. She didn’t just build a business; she built relationships, friendships, and lifelong bonds. Amy’s passing on Sunday, February 8, 2026, after a brief illness feels far too soon. There is a quiet shock in that reality, because Amy was someone who felt steady, present, and enduring. She had a way of making life feel anchored—making people feel safe, seen, and understood simply by being herself.  Amy’s presence at Excelsior Realty shaped who we are. Her kindness set a standard. Her faith gave strength. Her example reminded us that success is measured not by transactions, but by how we care for people along the way. Please join us in remembering and celebrating the life of our dear friend, Amy Koethe.

She will be profoundly missed—by her family, by her friends, and by all of us at Excelsior Realty who were blessed to walk alongside her.
